A large part of the healing process involves nutritional support. We use many different supplements to meet this need. The following lists what supplements we carry, why we use them, and what they can do to help.

Glysen (K-1) 

Glysen is used as a tool for healthy blood-sugar management and the correction of insulin resistance.  Also known as syndrome-x, insulin resistance is often under-estimated, impacting 20% of our population. Untreated, it will eventually lead to diabetes. Using herbs, vitamins and minerals, Glysen is designed to increase insulin receptor site sensitivity and bring a natural blood-sugar balance without the use of drugs. 

Adaptocrine (K-2)  

Under stress, our bodies overwork our adrenals, which are two triangle-shaped glands that sit atop the kidneys.  These glands produce hormones such as progesterone, DHEA, adrenaline, among others.  When the adrenals are overworked, they don’t produce our hormones in a normal cycle.  Adaptocrine, a broad-spectrum herbal adaptogen (plant compounds that have a normalizing effect on the Hypothamalus-Adrenal-Pituitary axis), aids in the healing of fatigued adrenals.

Opticrine (K-3)

Opticrine is used to optimize that release of testosterone in men and estradiol in women, both of which are important hormones.  It can be used to optimize fertility, virility and vitality.  In women, Opticrine has been shown to increase FSH (follicle stimulating hormone).  In men, it increases LH (luteinizing hormone) and testosterone production.

Progestaid (K-4)

Progestaid is designed to support healthy levels of LH (luteinizing hormone), support a proper estrogen/progesterone balance in women, improve fertility, help manage premenstrual syndrome, and inspire healthy release of LH and progesterone.  LH imbalances can lead to progesterone deficiency, estrogen dominance, inability to lose weight, infertility, depression, and increased cancer risk.

Estrovite (K-5)

Estrovite is designed to provide a healthy balance of estrogen/progesterone in women and estrogen/testosterone in men.  It does this by addressing estrogen receptor sensitivity and cellular response with natural compounds such as isoflavones, herbal adaptogens and vitamins.  We use this product to ease the symptoms of menopause.

Prosta-DHT (K-6)

Prosta-DHT is used to support prostate health in men.  It does this by minimizing the conversion of testosterone into dehydrotestosterone, which, in excessive amount, is known to be the major reason for enlargement of the prostate gland.

OmegaCo-3 (K-7) and Super EFA Complex (K-8)

Omega 3 and omega 6 are necessary to support optimal health and development.  The change in our civilization’s eating habits has given rise to disease, and fatty acid consumption has decreased significantly in this process.  Omega Co-3 and Super EFA Complex work to maintain a healthy balance of essential fatty acids.

Thyro-CNV (K-9)

Thyro-CNV is formulated to support healthy thyroid metabolism.  Its key ingredients are Commiphora Muku (shown to stimulate the synthesis of T3 hormones), Selenium (Responsible for converting T4 into T3), Zinc (supports T3 production), and antiperoxidative compounds (impacts peripheral thyroid hormone conversion).

Metacrin-DX (K-10)

Metacrin-DX provides the herbal support, vitamins, and amino acids needed to support phase 1 and 2 detoxification.  Healthy detoxification is very important when managing chronic illness or functional metabolic disorders.  This product is used to aid the liver in the detoxification process.

Bilemin (K-11)

Bilemin is also useful for a successful detoxification.  Once the liver has detoxified chemicals, they are delivered to the gallbladder for bile secretion into the feces for elimination.  If bile secretion is compromised, hepatic detoxification of toxins, adverse chemicals or hormones will not be eliminated.

Thyroxal (K-12)

Thyroxal is a broad spectrum supplement that contains the highest quality glandular, herbal, and nutritional compounds to support healthy hormone physiology.  This product contains compounds to support T3 and T4 production, as well as nutrients to support thyroid hormone physiology.  Other compounds are included in this formula to support and stimulate energy-producing metabolism that is crucial for patients with symptoms of low thyroid function.

ProGlyco-SP (K-13)

ProGlyco SP provides a broad spectrum of glandulars and minerals to improve the nutritive and biological conditions for better control of blood sugar.  Powerful antioxidants have been added to the formula to help minimize the biological damages produced by oxidized blood glucose.

Methyl-SP (K-14)

This product helps support methylation reactions.  Methylation is the biochemical reaction responsible for the transfer of one-carbon molecules.  This chemical reaction is a crucial step in many important biochemical pathways and is dependant on essential nutrients to act as cofactors.  Altered methylation reactions have been associated with elevated homocystine, dementia, depression, compromised Phase II detoxification, birth defects, etc.  This product should be considered by all women that use oral contraceptives because it contains the essential nutrients that are depleted while on the birth-control pill.

Adrenastim (K-15)

Adrenastim is formulated to support individuals that have developed adrenal exhaustion.  Adrenal exhaustion develops from chronic stress.  When the adrenals become exhausted, they lose the ability to produce cortisol.  This leads to hypoglycemia since the body depends on cortisol to stabilize blood sugar levels during the day.  As the adrenals become exhausted, the body’s ability to synthesize all other hormones becomes compromised.

Adrenacalm (K-16)

Adrenacalm can be used to decrease stress response, decrease anxiety, improve mood, improve depression and enhance memory and cognition.  This is accomplished by supporting over stimulated adrenals.

Testanex (K-17)

An enzyme called aromatase functions by converting testosterone into estrogen.  Aromatase overactivity is very common, especially in men.  It is the most common cause of andropause.  Andropause refers to a physiological state in which the production of androgen dominant hormones, such as testosterone, decline.  Testanex is designed to help prevent this hormone conversion.

DHEA (K-18), Pregnenolone (K-19) and Progesterone (K-20)

DHEA, Pregnenolone, and Progesterone are all hormones that the healthy body produces naturally.  These three sublingual formulas are designed to provide additional support when the body fails to produce them naturally.

Clearvite (K-21)

Clearvite is a dietary supplement designed to assist in hypoallergenic clearing programs that may be useful in detoxification programs as well as inflammatory or allergic conditions.

Oxicell (K-22)

Oxicell is used as an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory cream.  Oxicell is absorbed trans-dermally (through the skin), and when applied to minor bruises or sprains (NOT on open skin, such as cuts or scrapes).  It is a very effective way of managing inflammation.

Fibromin (K-25)

Fiber is a diverse group of compounds, including lignans and complex carbohydrates, that cannot be digested by human enzymes in the small intestine.  Many individuals are not consuming adequate amounts of dietary fiber.  Decreased fiber consumption may increase the risk for many cancers as well as promote illness.  Fiber provides blood glucose stabilizing properties and prevents insulin surges, and the use of fiber has proven helpful in several health-related disorders.

Hemevite (K-26)

Hemevite supports healthy iron and red blood cell metabolism.  The lack of iron is the most common nutrient deficiency in the United States.  Those most vulnerable include teenage girls, the elderly, pregnant women, menstruating women, and infants under the age of two.  Hemevite contains ferrous fumarate and a high-quality hydrolyzed liver extract to provide a rich source of iron that does not cause abdominal discomfort.  This product also contains ascorbic acid and hydrochloric acid to enhance the absorption of iron.

Cholestar (K-27)

Cholestar is formulated for healthy lipid metabolism and cholesterol control.  The natural compounds in this formula contain properties that may help maintain healthy cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, triglycerides and HDL cholesterol, as well as antagonize lipid perioxidation.

Protoglysen (K-28)

Protoglysen is used for healthy insulin and blood sugar management.  It’s designed to be taken in conjunction with Glysen, which provides the nutritional and mineral cofactors that support healthy insulin receptor site sensitivity and signaling.  Protoglysen provides the botanicals that demonstrate the same impact.

Gastro-ULC (K-29)

The compounds in Gastro-ULC have shown the ability to increase the number of villi and cells of the small intestine, manage gastric inflammation, increase mucous formation, and maintain healthy gastric lining.

Thyraxis-PT (K-30)

The pituitary releases TSH in order to stimulate the thyroid to produce thyroid hormones.  If the pituitary is suppressed, usually as a result of excess thyroid hormones, contraceptives, or elevated cortisol from stress, it may not secrete proper amounts of TSH.  This product is used in the functional model to support this feedback system.  Thyraxis-PT is a broad-spectrum formulation of glandulars, mineral, and nutritional compounds used to support the pituitary-thyroid axis.

X-Viromin (K-31)

X-Viromin supports healthy immune responses during viral infections.  It provides a wide range of vitamins, herbs and glandulars to support immunity.  It also supports the body’s natural killer cells, neutrophils and lymphokines.

H-PLR (K-32)
